Signal & Hobbs were proud to be chosen by Kane to complete roofing and cladding works at the Northcote Aquatic and Recreation Centre (NARC).
This appointment reflects a long-term relationship between the two businesses, and we were delighted to contribute to the successful completion of this project providing an important new community amenity.
High-Quality Materials & Rigorous Quality Standards
To successfully complete the roofing and cladding for the project, we utilised;
- Kingspan's RW1000 Insulated roof panels, ensuring superior insulation and durability
- Kingspan’s Rainspan Panel System: Integrated with Dri-Design cladding for a sleek exterior
- Colorbond Parapets: Installed across three zones, including the plant rooms
- Mondoclad Eaves and Colorbond Roofing: Providing a robust and visually appealing finish
- Precision Aluminium and Colorbond Cappings: Applied to various zones, enhancing aesthetics and function
Importantly, the Signal & Hobbs site team achieved Airtight Construction, crucial for a facility housing a swimming pool. This required meticulous attention to detail that went hand-in-glove with the high-standard we achieve for projects.

Signal & Hobbs were engaged by Hansen Yuncken to complete the roofing and façade for the new Regional Logistics Distribution Centre (RLDC) as the as part of the Warrnambool Base Hospital redevelopment.
Signal & Hobbs were engaged to complete roofing and cladding works on the new Jubilee Park Indoor Stadium. The specification included an insulated panel roof and wall system to provide a building envelope which met all Green Star and ESD requirements for the client: Frankston City Council.
Safety is important in any construction setting and especially in a business where team members are working at height and where the safety risks will evolve and change over the life of the project.
