We have developed and continually reinforce a positive safety culture with rigorous safety protocols to drive the correct safety behaviours. Across our team, we strongly believe that there can be absolutely no compromises with safety, and this is reflected in everything we do.

 

Our approach to safety reflects best practice in the construction industry. This means that we have proactive programs focussing on prevention, regular safety training and education, toolbox talks to highlight and reinforce appropriate safety behaviours, and an open culture that encourages a positive safety dialogue at all levels of our organisation.

 

Our rigorous safety programs and protocols are recognised and respected by our clients and each member of our team understands that there can be no compromises with safety.

 

We never rest on our laurels, and our approach to safety, like our approach to our business, centres on continuous improvement. In responding to tenders, we support environmental and sustainable design principles and work to ensure that the vision of the architect and project owners to create energy efficient and environmentally sustainable buildings is achieved.

 

Our recycling program ensures that metal offcuts and waste are recycled, and we seek to minimise waste through efficient and effective building practices and site controls. Where we source materials and components from third parties, we rely on the integrity and accountability of our supply partners to meet community expectations and relevant industry standards.

We are committed to leveraging our procurement processes to drive positive social outcomes.



Our social procurement strategy outlines the objectives and actions required to achieve our goals of; supplier diversity and engagement, workforce development, social inclusion, local economic impact, and community development. We have aligned our social procurement strategy to the Victorian Social Procurement Framework and Local Jobs First Policy.

  • Increase the representation of diverse suppliers in our supply chain.
  • Procuring goods and/or services from social benefit suppliers including First Nations-owned, women-owned, certified Social Enterprises, Australian Disability Enterprises and other underrepresented businesses.
  • Foster long-term relationships with diverse suppliers to enhance mutual growth and sustainability.
  • Employment of Aboriginal people by suppliers.
